Today, the Chelsea 267, 277, 859 and 867 series remain the only PTO’s with quality high enough to meet Allison’s tough quality specifications. Chelsea PTO’s are available as clutch PTO’s or as constant drive PTO’s.

Chelsea PTO’s for the Allison World Transmission Series

Especially for the Allison World Transmission Series Chelsea has designed in close cooperation with Allison several PTO Series which meet the requirements of today and tomorrow. The continuous driven PTO267 Series and the hot shift PTO277 Series are used for medium duty applications and the hot shift PTO859 Series and the continuous driven PTO867 Series are the solution for heavy duty applications. All these PTO’s are equipped with a helical input gear which permits higher torques and reduces noise. Also the PTO’s are fitted with roller bearings and pressure lubrication for reliability and durability. Simple design together with the included mounting kit allows for easy installation.

PTO’s for non Allison WT transmissions
Chelsea offers PTO’s for every Allison transmission like the AT/MT/HT Series transmissions or the M/S5000/6000/8000 and 9000 Series transmissions. These are the SAE 6 bolt PTO’s primarily for the On-Highway transmissions like the MT643 or the HT750 (all turbine driven) available with various controls, ratio’s and outputs. The Allison Off-Highway transmissions from the M/S5000/6000/8000 and 9000 Series transmissions which have engine driven PTO provisions use the SAE 8 bolt PTO’s. The SAE 8 bolt PTO’s can also be used on HT700 and CL(B)T700 transmissions which have engine driven PTO provisions. All PTO’s have the same high quality as the World Transmission PTO’s and provide added value to your Allison transmission.
