Power dividers are mounted between the engine and the transmission of a driveline. They are used to simultaneously provide precise ground travel control and, for instance, maximum water pump capacity for the fire pump. This enables fire trucks to drive while using the pump. That’s why power dividers are often used in Airport Emergency Vehicles.
