Allison Transmission 1000-2000 Series

Designed for light commercial vehicles in both on-highway and public transport applications, Allison Transmission’s 1000 and 2000 Series are rated up to a maximum of 224 kW (300 hp) and have up to six speeds available, including two overdrives. Both close and wide ratio gearing are offered. The addition of 5^th Generation advanced electronic controls enhances operation and prognostics capability. Additionally, provisions such as turbine-driven Power Take-Off (PTO) with optional neutral lock-up and a parking pawl are available. Allison’s 1000 and 2000 Series are built for reliable, productive and fuel efficient operation.

Allison 1000 Series transmissions

The Allison 1000 Series Brings superior performance of electronic controls from 6 to 11.8 tonne vehicle GVW. The engine and transmission communicate by a powerful microprocessor providing precise, perfectly timed shifts whatever the road or load conditions. Standard features include lock-up operation in second to fifth range and helical gearing for reduced transmission noise.

Allison 2000 Series transmissions

The 2000 Series transmission is designed for commercial trucks and smaller buses with gross weights up to 15,000 kilos (33,000lbs). The transmission increases torque capacity for higher powered vehicles within a lighter weight package. Adaptive technology ensures that optimum performance is maintained at all times. It also enables the transmission to compensate for variations in driving conditions, such as loads, drivers and traffic patterns.
